Our PPF has been tensile tested as well as gravelometer tested to evaluate the resistance of the vehicles surface coating to chippings caused by abrasions and impacts. ASTM D8 82 and ASTM 33 30 standard value the tensile strength of our PPF at 8200psi. Elongation at break 450% and Adhesive peel force at 7.8-10.6lbs/in. Our PPF is made up of many different layers. Self leveling hydrophobic surface, Aliphatic TPU base 6 mil (152micron), Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive, and a matte Siliconized liner.
